This is a new show that I have the pleasure of being involved with - come down to Abbot Kinney and show your love for this brand new gallery and some amazing artists.

It was a huge honor to be a part of the Studio Museum in Harlem's "Harlem Postcards: Fall/Winter 2010-11" show, what a great night! I was reminded of that wonderful night when I received the printed postcards in the mail today - so cool to be a part of a museum that truly is a part of the community and the fabric of New York.

Today I was the featured Guest on KCRW's Guest DJ project. It was so much fun going through my record collection to find the best sampling of the music that really drives every day for me. It was such a great honor to be included in the Studio Museum of Harlem's show : Harlem Postcards - Fall/Winter. I had a great night in New York, the opening was a success and a lot of great people came out to support. Thanks to all who came to see the work, and to all the other artists in the show and the Studio Museum of Harlem. Art is still alive!

I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Pro Surfer Andy Irons. Its a tragic event and I know he will be missed. His presence and personality was beaming when I photographed him for NY Times Play Magazine, just after his victory at the Pipeline Masters. My thoughts and positive vibes go out to his family and friends, and anyone out there who was inspired, as I was, by Andy's competitive and vivacious life.

Traveling is part of my job, and I am fortunate to have been on some wonderful trips. BUT as traveling is part of the job, it gets hard to find a moment and look around - to really BE in the city I am in and observe. On my recent trip to Argentina with the TOMS gang, I made sure to take a moment for myself, and capture some images of the city. Argentina is a naturally inspiring place and I cannot wait to return to it on a personal trip. Above is a few selections from my street shots - Enjoy!

After my first trip with TOMS shoes to Ethiopia, I was excited to take a break from my commercial work schedule to join TOMS on another philanthropic trip abroad.

The opportunity presented itself – this time for a once in a career chance to join my friend Blake Mycoskie and the TOMS team for their One Millionth Shoe Drop in Argentina.

During the trip I had the chance to do some great street photography for my personal work, as well as photograph thousands of grateful children receiving shoes. Here are a selection of some of my favorite shots of the Shoe Drop.

First post from Virgin American flight from NYC to LA on my new Ipad. So far the Ipad road test is working out well. There needs to be a facebook chat plug in and also some way to upload my images to my blog.
Hopefully apple will work the bugs out in the near future.
